had an interesting phone call from a friend who is at an awards ceremony for Glyn Chamberlain tonight. Apparently, Adams is going Turkey for a couple of weeks holiday then signing when he gets back.

 

My friends Dad used to scout for Vale along for a few other Clubs so is normally reliable.

 

No rush until after the EGM, perhaps a couple of weeks in Turkey will put him off us. Will there be a prize for spot MA on holiday, indtead of Guess the gate?

So, plenty of decent managers with league pedigree are once again to be passed over for a non-league manager of who most of us have never heard. Can't wait to see this Nigel Gilson flounder like Sinnott, bringing in non-league players because he has no contacts.

Another interesting name to appear in the oddslist at a very possible 9/1 is ex-East German international Uwe Rosler. I have never heard of him being mentioned in a Vale context before, anyone got any ideas where his name came from ?

 

Tommy Docherty once said of Uwe Rosler he threw his boots into the crowd and even then he missed.

Although the board will use Adams as a smokescreen from the goings on off the pitch.. I'd love to see him back at Vale.

 

Since Christmas and the Gannon era, the heart and soul has been ripped out of Port Vale Football Club. Performances like those against Stockport and Barnet are not good enough but will become a lot more frequent if we aren't careful.

 

Under Adams we saw the side playing with pride and passion. Something we havent seen very often in the recent history. He got average players playing to a decent standard and on top of the League.

 

Now imagine what we could achieve with Adams getting the best out of the players.... and Mo in the boardroom so a better standard of players were available to us.

 

Yes please!

If this relative-unknown is hired then Mo can just send him back to the conference when he takes charge. LB states that any managerial appointment made by Bratt can be undone with ease after the takeover.

I like many want him back, much better this is AFTER June 1st though, don't want this lot to have ANY shield at the AGM! Yes Micky, have a great time in Turkey & come back when Mo's at the helm and you actually HAVE some cash to spend on next years team!.....:yes:
