Its a strange one, I can only assume they have some inside info. Perhaps someone is about to launch a genuine takeover attempt (as opposed to Mos original attempt to invest via v2001) and will be offering over 5 quid a share to existing shareholders.

 

Can't see why else there would be a scramble to buy shares (if true).

In my opinion, it would be a test of resolve. If they refuse some ridiculous price for their shares, then alarm bells would start ringing.

 

I think one point that doesn't get mentioned very often is, why does Mo need to buy 51%? In my view this is not about taking control away from the average shareholder, this is more about ensuring that the old guard do not cause problems after a takeover.

Not buying that. The "pro board" lobby has enough votes to get that through anyway. If they can get Glenn voted on, they can easily get MA voted on!

IF Mark says yes(it will surprise me if he does tbh) then i hope Mo goes straight in with an offer just to invest 24.9% and lets see why they turn that down with Mark in there.

If MC and MS bought 20% each, it would be enough with small share holder and RW backing.

I actually think you're wrong....unless you're talking life changing amounts of cash I'm not actually sure that they're interested in profit.

Forgive me if I have missed something, but is this act of lunacy, getting Adams on the board, a way of getting around letting Mark and his team have a look at the books? He was voted onto the board at the EGM was he not so regardless of what the Jackson 5 try to do now cannot stop him from doing this surely?
