What's happened has happened, people can moan all they like.

All Vale fans can do now is give this a chance. Unless you have enough money to buy the club, it's put up or shut up.

PM did'nt even get his directors seat warm before he took over the chairman seat , and as for giving control back to Bratt and co. NO, Just two local business men.

 

...and that is why so many are now looking to find a fault in the current deal! I don't think there is anything dodgy or wrong in this deal, but because some people didn't get this exact deal post the EGM, then every deal will be dodgy!

 

There is nothing wrong with this deal, it just isn't the deal that some people wanted! But that deal is not happening now and people have to get used to that, move one and try and give this new deal a chance!

Why are people on here so determined to find something wrong or illegal with this deal before the people have even had chance to get in their boardroom seats? Maybe they should leave Vale Park as we are such an ungrateful lot and give the reains back to Bratt and Oliver, is that what everyone wants?

This isn't about personalities, this is about business and what the goals of the pro-change movement were about!

 

Those goals were

 

1. to get BB, GO, PJ, SM and ML out

2. to get new investment into the club

3. to get a long term business vision in place for the club

4. to get new blood into the boardroom

 

This all started long before even Mo showed his head. If you read those 4 points, the only thing that remains is ML still in place as VC! Well that's a compromise I'm willing to accept for the rest being achieved and more credit to ML for having been an agent on the inside for helping us to achieve it!

 

No targetting or brainwashing, by ML or the Stalwarts who want to derail the BSI deal today! I'm my own man with my own mind and I make my own decisions based upon the facts that I am given!

 

Now I'm not saying it's all a bed of roses and we have been handed Utopia, but we have got what we asked for and if anyone is complaining about that now, then they need to think about the part they played in getting us here, because we have all played a part!

 

Change has happened!

 

We have a new board!

We have a new chairman!

We have new investment!

 

Let our standing in December 2012 be a judge of whether it was a success or not, to judge now is pre-emptive and foolish, and I fear bred out of resentment and disappointment at not getting everything that was demanded from the EGM!

I guess anyone who invests and becomes a director/chairman is going to be accused of getting the club on the cheap, simply because of the 25% rule. Its not the fault of anyone presently in charge of the club that this rule is still in place. I have no idea whether they will be good or bad for PVFC but most people have said they will give the board 12 months to see if things improve. Nothing that has happened today has changed that IMHO.

A question please SV, are you 100% convinced that this deal will happen and 100% happy with the replacement personnel at our club and confident that they will act honourably?

 

You say you need proof that there is wrongdoing well can you show me figures that point out where this £5-8M investment is coming from, because a three person

 

We wanted a change for the better and not for the same or worse. I do not trust these people, from their history and based on the information (or lack of) that has been presented so far. Now they have control, there's nothing we can do but anything that shows up on the radar about these people and the companies involved should be aired to all Vale fans.
