We desperately need a good January, a clear out of L2 players and freshen it up with players who can compete. We seem to be 3/4 injuries from a disaster at all times.

Defence has been horrible all season. But that’s what happens when you let your best defender go and don’t sign a suitable replacement. Dosent help that without Ojo and Walker our midfield is a mile off it.

We also always seem to have 3/4 injuries. Real injury prone squad.

div2 team in div 1 im afraid. too many changes , we need a settled side and a much stronger defence. weve had a free week to plan for this game, very poor show. lets wait for the excuses.😒

My Oxford supporting colleague text me saying we weren’t that bad. Keeper made a worldly save at 2-0 and we started the second half well. Oh he is also looking forward to seeing me.

Gibbons. And we replaced him with two young lads on loan. One can’t get near the squad and the other was playing CF when eventually picked.

Parce que ces't!  One game out of context with the recent results, not counting the FA Cup game as it was pretty much a second-string. Disappointing, obviously...but Man City lost at home to Brentford, today - <ovf censored> happens!

9 points outside the bottom 4, a bad day at the office though. We’re playing with a keeper rewarded for playing at the back end of last season, without actually ever playing that well in league 2, backing up a keeper who was probably 5th or lower choice. The pattern of “its been even but they’ve been more clinical” means the keeper is letting us down. I personally don’t mind the defence too much. Obviously we could do with a commanding centre half of L1 level, but that’s the same for everyone. The other big concern for me is the midfield is dire. Some big decisions coming in January. Without a pitch revolution the injuries will always be something we are dealing with every season too.
