Badge in the middle is 100% the way to go though. Makes a kit look so much better. Hope we adopt the central approach next year.

Torquay have had the same. Badge in the middle with the Puma logo below it.

Not in favour of this. The current top can be warn as casual wear. If the badge is where it is, then yes it's a football top, but the club isn't front and central. It's just there if somebody really wants to look at it.

This doesn't matter with lower quality shirts in previous years. They were only ever football shirts or running shirts. The current shirt transcends into casual wear and would be downgraded as such with a central badge.

Fortunately any badge move can't happen - if at all until 2024. Moving it would impact my perception of the shirt. I'm not saying I wouldn't buy one but use would be more limited.

Barnsley's goalkeeper kits are he same template as ours, so I'm bracing myself for this to be our away GK kit:

Yeah it’s a standard template. Ours might or might not be pink but will probably be the same design.

The teams who have a contract with Big Puma get a panel down the side of the shirt in a different colour.

I think I'd prefer it without the big puma panel

Very 1989. If we don’t bring our away kit there on the opening day then we might end up having to wear theirs again.

I think that design will inhibit their sales. The Port Vale shirt can be worn for casual, exercise and matches. So people may buy more than one. If that was the Port Vale shirt I'm 100% only buying one.

Some terrible old kits are so bad they achieve cult status. Think of that brown Coventry away strip from the 1970s for example.

I assume that’s what’s gone on here although I can’t exactly imagine your average no-nonsense Yorkshireman like Parky or Dickie Bird wearing it.

Agreed!

We should bring this old gem back in an updated version! 😅
