But I suppose the club would have considered the talent of the three players we would have missed out on v Burton, ALL now available for the quickly re arranged match....

If you re- arrange games for after December you could run the risk of a bigger fixture pile up due to Winter postponements which quite often occur.

Plus the coaching team have had extra time to work with Loft and maybe rest a few early season knocks. We should be raring to go on Satdee.

EFL rules say the game must be rearranged for the first available date for both clubs.

Looking down the table presently, we can put 14 points between ourselves and BBurton. I note they stormed up the league after a poor start before. So focusing on safety let's punidh them now.

If Arblaster and Devine only trained until Saturday couldn't we have just moved it to the Sunday for instance?

I went to a National League game, trust me it was a blessing we didn’t play. The heat was absolutely horrendous and seriously impacted the standard even with a drinks break in each half.

After seeing todays performance what was controlled and just missing players who want to get on the end of crosses I'd be changing a few players tues .

I'd be bringing Ben Garrity in for sure .

Who for that's the question .

Wilson a few times today looked like he was going do  something the back flick first half which nearly put Devine in was excellent and the ball through to Cheslett what the ref stopped play was absolutely sublime .

Also the ball through which i feel JPlant should have buried .

We did the same in the early seventies when we topped this league after 9 games with a minus 2 goal difference. That was after earlier losing 7 nil to Rotherham. The stats are amazingly similar. We finished 6th that season, which would be brilliant this season if it resulted in another Wembley promotion.

You can't take any team in League One for granted, but as long as we apply ourselves correctly, I've never been confident in our team that we'll get the 3 points. I know how different I sound to my comments on the opening games of the season where I looked a right plum, but I'm perfectly okay with that. Opinions are there to be changed. 

All I think all we're missing right now is an early goal. It would alter the way the opposition play at Vale Park and change their gameplan sooner or later. If teams become a little bit more open then that can only benefit our more creative players such as Chislett and Devine.

Think we'll win this one and score a few goals in the process. 3-0.
