Good news about the second signing seems a very good lad playing for a team who got promoted .

Have Stockport released any defenders as surely, we need a leader back there or are  we just going try strengthen midfield snd forward line and keep the ball away from defence .

Work to do yet hope we can get a few more in and hopefully a few will move on .

Two very encouraging signings though so keep them coming.

Yeah he made the bench one game at the end of the season. Prob never see him again 😭

Underwhelming on paper. I say that because based on experience he appears to be a player who barely played for Stockport last season and that is usually because he was either injured or not good enough to make the step up to league 2. 
 

A look at his playing history tells you he is a very experienced conference player but has never really made it as a league footballer. 
 

You can have blind optimism believing he will be good, but looking at the facts, which are his playing history, this looks like an Aspin/Glover era signing. 
 

If we bought a striker who had never done anything in the football league, we’d be fuming, so why a midfielder with similar gets hailed as a good signing, no idea!

I'll be interested to see how he does. My impression is he is more Anthony Griffiths than Sam Morsy. His passing range is limited. Lots of effort.

He’s averaged around 35 games a season in his career. Not sure about him barely playing last season. He featured 36 times in all competitions for Stockport in the previous campaign. Their fans are full of praise, also captained them on occasions so not sure about being unable to compete at league 2 level neither.

It’s more his performances on the pitch & his attitude in games once croz was out the door that fans are talking about. And what player has ever come out & said they are pleased a manager has left 🤔😂

For most of his time at Vale we were a poor league 2 outfit. Even in the promotion season our points per game were a lot lower after his return than before. He had to make a lot of tackles because he constantly gave the ball away. Personally I like holding midfield players who can pass 20 metres plus to their own player.

At one point he started 20 consecutive games, in which Stockport won 14 - 12 consecutive. He was captain.
