Walsall have signed midfielder Charlie Lakin who some mentioned on here when released by Burton,he scored a few on loan last season at Sutton probably a replacement for Hutchinson who they have sold

Yes in wages but you can't ignore the fact we will have a minimum of 1 million less income to deal with so the budget will be "competitive" but not  the same as L1.

I can't see it. The budget will be reduced from L1 to reflect the level and reduced income.

Contracted players from L1 will be on reduced wages from 1st July. Its impossible to have the same wage expenditure with significant less income.

We will have to agree to disagree on that one mate,I dont think it will be worse than in League One,lets see who else comes in and if we pay anymore fees(fees i assume will also be out of the budget unless we sell of course).

I don’t think the wage bill was at the max it could be for the income we generated. I’m with werstayinup in that the budget will be the same and any extras will be funded with subsidised wages. (The way to get round FFP in league one and two)
