To be fair two of those clubs relegated from L2 were complete basket cases and it was a matter of time. You could say the same for us when we went down from L1. Apparently was Sutton supporters player of the season last year as well.

Winning the best player on the sh!ttest team in the league doesn't really do much for me.

Reflects the pool we are fishing in and balancing the budget i guess.

Still for sure he s a genuine left back of the right age.

Hopefully he can give us 7.5 out of 10 week in week out without injuries. (although, as with our other signings no chance of improving him and selling on for  a profit so there's a definite change of policy there from the owners).

Still think sir Mal shouldn't have got so much abuse though .... he d havebeen great back in league 2.

Was only a kid last time he was here on loan, but one thing I’ve always noticed when I’ve seen Sam Hart is he works incredibly hard. There’s a bit of a theme coming in here with all our signings. We were so unfit last season I can see fitness being a major factor this time around, every signing so far is a tenacious type of player. Grafters 💪🏻

Personally I think that’s rubbish. The 3 signings before this one won’t be cheap. 
Hes a league 2 left back and it’s a position we needed to fill. He will be more than fine.

Solid signing! Did alright for us on loan a few years ago and he was nowhere near as experienced then. Without setting the world on fire, he's likely to be a substantial upgrade on playing either Jones or Grant at left wing-back.

Left backs are scarce, as there’s less left footed players. We needed a specialist and there aren’t loads going around.
