That starting XI is already a more balanced, robust unit. 

Add a commanding CB, to partner Smudge, and I think we are looking half decent. 

 

I'd say more than half decent. That side has top 2 all over it, if it gels. Obviously your season will also largely depend on the quality you have on the bench and in reserve too. But that team on paper looks better than any team we had in the league above at any stage last season once Arblaster and Devine left.

I just think we are two or three more quality additions away from challenging for the automatic spots. 

I do think Moore will start with a back three, so it’ll be interesting to see how the CB’s lineup.

My gut reaction is he'll start 3 4 3 as he has history. At the moment I think we are 7th favourites and I don't disagree with that.

Good thing is the real areas we were extremely short in we’ve addressed so far. Find a centre back and then look at depth and then maybe supplement with a couple of loans and I think we’re good.
