I don't see this negativity about Ojo from last season. Having watched virtually every game on iFollow I saw no difference in Ojo's effort and commitment pre or post Blaster, Devine or Crosby, in the second half of the season I saw some rasping tackles and professional challenges when needed, a player desperately trying to keep Vale in Lge 1.

It was rumored he picked up an injury in the run in and he limped off a few times towards game end but he still played to help the cause.

he paired up well with Blaster in particular and Devine but what Lge 1 player wouldn't.

I reckon Ojo will be a pivotal player for vale this coming season.

Agreed , Ojo seems to have been made a scapegoat and plenty have jumped on the bandwagon

You could say that Slowjo downed his tools after Crosby left, but DM still selected him. I’d like to see him being more combative passing forward instead of sideways and backwards. I understand you can only make forward passes if a pass is available.

Not sure that's right.

Loft, Smith,Jones,Debrah , Uche all got pelters too at times.

Someone with a better memory than me might recollect the exact game. It was widely posted on here. 

Ojo absolutely bottled a tackle right by the dug outs one game. Complete lack of effort and total disinterest.

I can understand why folks are peeved. If you are/were captain then you lead by example not by cowardice and petulance.

Grant struggles to stay fit & play one position as it is & your suggesting he suddenly becomes a utility player 😭 I’m all for giving Grant a run out in league two even though he was dog <ovf censored> last time out, not sure he has the mobility to play in midfield even if he has played their during his career. Far too sluggish what I’ve seen so far. Would suit left back cover nicely, let him & Hart battle it out for that slot. Would be another Conlon in the middle of the park, one footed backwards & sideways passes whilst slowing the game down. At least if he’s out wide he can put one of his supposedly great deliveries in 🤷‍♂️
