For me though any money coming into the club from first team sales i dont mind if it gets shared between the first team and Academy,we really do need to look after the Academy as well

it’s actually looking promising from an academy point of view, I think it gives fans a connection to the players when they’re homegrown. But let’s face it it’s been pretty barren for a long while. Thinking about it is there anyone we’ve produced other than Smith and Gibbo who are out there currently playing in the EFL having come through our academy? 

I agree totally,I dont think they will just get thrown in now,there is no need to but i think we will blood them in the EFL Trophy games and that will be an ideal platform for them to start at

If we're spending that much in transfer fees I'm assuming that's because a deal to sell either ojo, garrity, chiz or dipepa has been agreed.

Or that Carol is spending her windfall ?

Sam Morsy. Not sure if Luke Prosser or Charlie Raglan have contracts any more. Ryan Boot will be as he's first choice at Chesterfield.

I thought about Morsy but we didn’t get him til he was 16, so I didn’t count him. Boot, how could I forget him, looks like he’s got his career back on track. Just checked on Raglan and he’s with Tom Conlon at Oldham.

He left Wolves after a Mick McCarthy pep talk to the under 16s. Told them he didn't believe in picking young players as he felt he had got the sack from Sunderland because of trying to develop young players. We then picked him up.
