Leyton Orient - Dennis and Proc with two goals in 91st and 93rd minutes - best game for atmosphere I’d been to at Vale for years, only trumped by the playoff second leg.  As someone else said last season the tool waved someone off when they’d received a red card but karma’s sweet and when he got sent off (might even have been the week after) a few of the opposition players waved him off too.👋

Loft = Striker = Score goals and push for a place.  Easy.  Not just do a lot of running and off ball stuff - score goals in matches and then you get picked. 

Like all Vale fans hoping with Loft - he finds his scoring boots at the back of the wardrobe and now the pressure is off him as the only striker he relaxes and scores goals rather than taking that extra touch to try and make sure - then a defender just takes the ball off him or blocks the shot.

Not surprised I was reliably informed he was by far the best RB and RWB in league 2 last season.

I think the only way there is another forward is if one leaves.  Garrity is good in the role, Curtis has played a reasonable number of games there for Portsmouth.  Garrity's goals per game as a striker is better than most strikers. Whatever money is left in the budget should and will be spent elsewhere.

I don't think DM will want to be in a position where he has to play Garrity up front again but I see your point about Curtis
