I’m not against Trent starting in midfield alongside Rice. Get Bellingham further up the pitch alongside Kane & Foden. Only issue then is Palmer wouldn’t start & he’s had a great season. Personally I’d have Jude with Rice & a front three of Foden, Kane & either Palmer or Eze.

How so? I stated he shouldn’t play there and the only reason Klopp played him there were numerous injuries. Which we don’t have. Any chance of a response without the name calling

I wouldn’t be, but we have better options in there. For me, Mainoo and Gallagher are better in that position, I really rate Wharton but probably too soon for him. AA is a great player but shouldn’t be our first options along with Rice imo

England just play to win .

Should have won tournament a few years back but negative set up at 1 -0 up cost them .

I ain't seen the squad but heard Rashford Grealish and Maddison  on not in it .

I think if Foden ,Trent and Saka plus Kane click we should be looking at winning it .

I'd probably play Trent further up the field mesen .

It starts fri the competition does .

I might watch a few games if games are on while at gym 🏋️‍♂️

Gallagher 😂 I don’t rate him but each to their own mate. Kobbie is quality but could be a little soon for him as well like Wharton who you’ve mentioned 👍🏻 We’ll soon find out anyways pal 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

Interesting thought playing Trent in midfield, his passing and range of passing is quality, Seem to remember Southgate tried him in midfield late on vs Iceland and he did well so could be a goer.

To get Trent's into the team I wondered whether Walker would play along side Stones and Trent and Trippier as the two Full Backs.

Southgate needs to get a bigger tune out of Foden, Saka, Palmer et al, Foden was disappointing vs Iceland and hasn't lived up to his potential for England in the games I've seen.

I would as well. Saka hasnt been as good recently and in my opinion Dosent suit our style of play. Not sure how picking Palmer over anyone can be seen as bizarre given the season he has had. Eze is fantastic and I’d put him ahead of Saka. If Bellingham played along side Rice then I would start Eze

I’d have both of them over Saka. I don’t get the hype around Saka myself but he does have a decent record for England. We are blessed with our attacking options I’m sure they’ll all have a part to play
