Switzerland are brilliant and we'll have a very tough game if we get past Slovakia.

A very solid keeper, three good defenders led by the outstanding Akanki, Xhaka controlling the pace of things and the likes of Freuler and Aebischer putting themselves about. They lack a striker but have been really impressed.

Not going to think yet about Switzerland as opponents.

If this tournament has proven anything, it’s that the FIFA Rankings don’t mean much - Place 19 totally outplaying Place 10 tonight.

Slovakia are ranked only around 45, but England have to step up their game to deserve to beat them.

Always preferred Barry Davies as my favourite commentator but a wonderful career.

Very odd to bow out mid tournament?

Was reading a while back that he was livid that Matterface took over as ITV main commentator.

Just seems strange to go out with 13 games left to play .
