That is the sickest post I've ever read on OVF, even if it was intended as sarcasm.

 

You may like to take note that the reason immigrants in any country, be they white, blue, green, stick together with a so called community spirit is because of the "birds of a feather flock together" spirit. There wasn't much community spirit when the verdicts were announced as there was scuffling between those found guilty and one found not guilty in the courtroom.

 

The UK does have its own share of undesirables but it certainly doesn't need to import any other such reprobates whether they be the immigrants themselves or their offspring. It is the hypocrisy of many people that follow the Islamic faith that is hard to swallow and prompts the anti-Islam reaction.

Every religion has hypocrisy and cherry picking. So I agree it should be challenged, and its not racist to challenge religion in any way, religion shouldn't be placed above question with the typical excuse of 'respect' given to make it unquestionable. However I don't think Islam should be singled out any more than any religion in this case. Just look at the numerous cases of priests abusing kids.

I went to a catholic school. I was an altar boy. I never got abused. I feel left out. I must have been a very ugly child, or maybe our priest knew that I couldn't be trusted to keep my gob shut. Probably both.

I see no link to abuse by Catholic priestes in any way..I've not heard any priest claim in any way that their religion actively enourages such behaviuour whereas we do read of Muslims whose warped views of Islam and the warped teachings that they have received do at least not condemn such behaviour

 

I have no doubt that these men are not typical Muslims nor that Islam in any way truly supports such behaviour but I believe it false to make any comparison between what these men did and abuse by Catholic priests

 

The cover up in the catholic church is an abomination but I see no such organised cover up in the Muslim church with regards to these men so again no comparison for me

don't like doing this but i have to agree with you on this point, the indolence of the authorities can be either by accident or design,if accident then there should be wholesale sackings,if design then corruption rears it's ugly head.

 

The same thing went on in Rochdale but the authorities chose to ignore it.

Nonsense..the catholic religion in no way told them that child abuse was OK. In this case their warped interpretation of their religion caused them to see young white girls as lesser beings and deserving victims
